This section amends Idaho's 1909 weapons law to prohibit most people from carrying concealed deadly weapons—such as knives, pistols, or guns—in cities, public gatherings, camps, public transportation, or on highways. It also bans displaying weapons in a threatening way, carrying weapons while intoxicated, and selling or giving weapons to minors under 16 without parental consent. Violators could face fines and jail time. Certain officials and law enforcement were exempt, and individuals could legally carry weapons if they obtained a permit from the county sheriff and proved a need for it.
