| dc.description.summary | This law centralizes control over explosives and flammable materials with the fire marshal’s department, which is given authority to set regulations on the storage, use, manufacture, and sale of substances like gunpowder, dynamite, petroleum products, and other inflammable fluids, including rules on building construction for such purposes. It also requires licenses and permits after public notice and approval for any new facilities handling these materials, while allowing existing lawful uses to continue under updated safety regulations.
