1891 Minn. Gen. Stat. 517, §§ 6290-91
Abstract
§§ 6290-91: Prohibited carrying with intent to use against another any slung-shot, sand-club, metal knuckles, dagger, dirk, knife, pistol, or other firearm, or any dangerous. Violators guilty of a misdemeanor.
Summary
The law made it a misdemeanor to carry, conceal, possess, or attempt to use certain dangerous weapons with intent to use them against another person, and it established that concealed possession of such weapons by a non-public officer constituted presumptive evidence of unlawful intent.

Sec. 6291. Same—Possession, presumptive evidence.—The possession by any person other than a public officer, of any of the weapons specified in the last section, concealed or furtively carried on the person, is presumptive evidence of carrying, or concealing, or possessing, with intent to use the same in violation of that section.
