| dc.description.lawtext | § 170. Prohibited, Except by Permission. (Sec. 1.) That any person who shall within the City of Fort Collins, fire or discharge any cannon, gun, fowling piece, pistol or fire-arm of any description, or fire, explode or set off any squib, cracker or other thing containing powder or other combustible matter or explosive material without permission from the Mayor (which permission shall limit the time of such firing, and shall be subject to be revoked by the Mayor at any time after the same has been granted), shall, on conviction thereof, be fined in a sum of not less than one ($1) dollar nor more than one hundred ($100) dollars. Provided, that no permission shall be granted any person or persons to hold or conduct any shooting match or competitive trial of skill with fire arms within the city, except the same be authorized by resolution of the City Council. | |
