| dc.description.summary | This law makes the possession or attempted use of specific dangerous weapons, as well as carrying concealed firearms without a license or possession by non-citizens in public places, a felony, while declaring minor possession and unlicensed concealable firearm possession as misdemeanors. It outlines local licensing authority through police magistrates or justices of the peace to regulate who may carry concealable firearms. Certain exemptions are granted for law enforcement officers, military personnel, and the commercial transportation of firearms. | |
